Chris has a huge wealth of knowledge and expertise and provides a wide range of accountancy, tax and business advice to entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, owner managed and family run businesses across all sectors, including agriculture, construction, engineering, franchisees, manufacturing, retail, tourism, transport and more.
He is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Chartered Institute of Management and a member of the Institute of Directors.
Chris joined Lamont Pridmore in 2008, after 5 years in practice in the south-east, and led the development of our thriving Carlisle office. Originally intent on a different career path, he has a medical science degree and started his career in the pharmaceutical industry, Chris jokes that there was no escaping the accountancy gene before he switched careers to train as a Chartered Accountant with a top 20 London firm.
Chris was born and raised in Cumbria and now lives just outside Carlisle. He is married to Alison, a qualified Embryologist and when not working, he is kept busy by his four children and their sporting activities. He’s a keen local rugby fan and enjoys golf, cricket, DIY, cooking and entertaining friends.
