John is highly experienced accountant having spent over 30 years in the accountancy profession. He joined Lamont Pridmore in 2008 and is a full Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).
John looks after sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and contractors from a wide range of sectors including retail, tourism, manufacturing and engineering, ensuring their accountancy, VAT and taxation needs are managed effectively. He is one of our experts in Quickbooks and Xero online accountancy software. John also develops business plans and advises on business purchases and preparations for sale.
Born and brought up in Cockermouth, John is the local Parish Clerk and a Trustee of a local Academy school. When not working, he enjoys gardening, walking and days out with his children.
